-For notes about the origin of the song, check the talk tab of this page.  I'm really happy with how this turned out.  I suprised myself when I added the drums to this demo, which really make the song come alive, I think. The last refrain drums are my favorite part, I think, mostly because I hadn't planned on doing any drums for this demo, let along a part that lively.

 The melody on the bridge is the Northwestern fight song "On U Northwestern".  Mr. Vlasses should remember it.  Obviously, I rewrote the chords underneath.  I haven't ever done anything like appropriating an existing melody before, but I think it's effective here.  I had a dickens of a time getting back to the home key after the bridge, but after three different tries, I think what I've ended up with works well.
