Author's Notes

this song is pretty deliberately bombastic. the first part of the verse melody is ripped off from the first line of "hey big spender"] from sweet charity. i wrote this at about 4 this morning and re-recorded it this evening. still might be working on refining the lyrics to the appropriate balance of cheesy and poignant. also may still work on the drums. and vocals. jesus. on the whole though i had a lot of fun making this.:)
