The melody you're working up at the end of Part 1 is great, totally worth running with.

Man.  That swinging rhythm and that guitar line in Part Two are freakin' rad!  Maybe it's just the effect you've put on it, but I can't help thinking that if Mega Man were a ganster, that bit would play whenever he was on the "Abandoned Wharf" level fighting what I assume would be pirate robots.  The guitar lick with the arpeggiated seventh (I think) at the end of that section is rockin'.

As always, I think the bass work here is super.

Paraleisure, though (as with most of the demos) actually just me. So. When you guys put two song pieces together that never should've been together and it ends up just sounding really frustrating, you just wake up from the nightmare, right? I didn't, I just ended up with this. I think the rock is rockin', I think the brit-poppy thing could turn out to be something, and I think that guitar line was by far my best at the time. Squashed together with some utterly uncalled-for additional verses, though, it's a tiring 6 minutes. Those of you who can try things like this out with a live band before wasting college nights on putting together a bad demo - be thankful!

Gabemcelwain 08:49, 4 April 2007 (PDT)
