Author's Notes

A little "suite" we whipped up from two more of Sam's college demos when he and Alex came to visit me in Chicago over Memorial Day 2007. The organ solo over verse two of the first bit was recorded by making Alex play without the backing track for reference, or even a steady beat, and then dragged onto the track. Sam insisted on doing it this way, and it drove Alex nuts. Ha.

Sam's on guitar, vocals, and drums rolls at the end; I'm on drums, tambourine, lead guitar, and backing vox; Alex is on cool synth bass, organ (against his will), piano, and backing vox.
