i spend most of the night working on another song, then ended up recording this at the last minute. deirdre and i had a funny experience with the ZOOM hard disc recorder she checked out from the Penn Library. We kept thinking it was recording, but then when we listened back it would play rediculus things like a lecture about Bill Gates and America, or some guy whispering oddities into the microphone. Bizarre. I was imagining that somehow that's the way we sounded to the ZOOM. And that while it's fidelity was high it would totally misrepresent the content.
