Songwriter Notes

so originally this was going to be a song about running someplace you might otherwise drive, but then while writing the chorus i got something about birds wishing they could run, and then i just decided to go with that idea instead. i pretty strange song. actually the chorus melody reminds me a little of the better boyfriends. anyway, i've been working on this one a lot and its starting to get irritating. i'm glad to be done with it!
