This is my cover of Sara's song Sigh & goodbye. I made it because the song was awesome and as a birthday present for her.

I had to change the key when I recorded this song because Sara's range is totally insane. Notice that during the verse I'm straining to hit the low notes and during the bridge I'm straining to hit the high notes, while on Sara's version she's not even breaking a sweat.

I think my version's in G. I'll check.

I just thought this was a really fantastic song and I wanted to get to know it better. And there's no better way to get to know a song than by recording your own version of it.

I don't think I could have improved on Sara's song, though I am proud of the drum beats that I made, and the way the differences from pattern to pattern move the song along propulsively. Playing drums in a band has helped me write better drum loops, as it turns out.
