OK, there's a totally Grandaddy thing happening here, which of course I support 100%. i especially like the lyrics in the last verse. it occurs to me that i have never written a song that's sung this slowly. i should try that sometime. keep it up, man! Gabemcelwain 07:35, 24 July 2009 (PDT)
yeah, I thinks in my nature to sing slowly. Not sure why that is. I think you are right about granddaddy and I agree they are a great band to ape sounds from. I was actually thinking of e smith when I was writing the chords and melody, but it doesn't really come across in the finished product. this was song 100 posted on lynl. I've been posting a place holder at least for every song that I ve written that I can remember As a way of tracking how much I've written total. 100 is an acomplishment but looking back I wish I had written more earlier. I think it's good for me to be in the habit of finishing songs. I wish I had started that earlier. I was thinking today that I should try to write 1000 songs before I'm 40. I think that could be a cool long term writi g exercise. Conorl 18:50, 25 July 2009 (PDT)
