i love the sound of this recording. the atmospherics are a wonderful accompaniment for the close sound of the vocals. the way the uneasy melody of the verse transitions into the sweetness of the chorus is lovely, and the change to the syncopated (?) strumming gives it a very classic pop sound. the harmonies and the longer lines of the chorus are incredibly catchy, i'm running around all the time singing "i swear, my dear...." the transition from "holding" in the verse to "i won't hold you to anything" kind of holds the two parts together. i would love to hear more of what you guys worked on together.
