I like this very much, especially the back and forth comparisons of the last stanza. You use great sort of abstract emotional imagery in some of your lyrics, but you also sometimes use very exact anatomical or biological language, and the direct intersection of those two trends in that second stanza is satisfying. bringing the romantic and the real together, face to face, makes each of them more potent, i think, rather than diffusing one or the other. well played.
